Director of Communications
Hannah oversees our Communication and Content Marketing programs at Happy Helpers. She earned a B.A. in Government with a minor in African Studies from Georgetown University, then continued her education at The Savannah College of Art and Design, where she was accepted to become a volunteer for The Peace Corps in South Africa. Hannah has 10+ years of teaching and tutoring experience and has worked for renowned non-profit organizations. Hannah is originally from New York City, and currently volunteers as an academic advisor and life coach to immigrants and students facing homelessness.
Learning Design Coordinator
Brenda Lebron is the Learning Design and Development Coordinator at Happy Helpers. She graduated from the University of Texas at Austin in 2018 with a BA in History and a certificate in Business Foundations from the McCombs School of Business. She is currently a master's student at the University of North Texas studying Learning Technologies, with a concentration in Instructional Systems Design.
Youth Advocacy Organizer
Djeneba is a rising junior at Texas A&M University, College Station, Texas, pursuing a degree in Public Health. She aspires to become a Healthcare Administrator, as well as a Global Health Advocate. Djeneba joined the Happy Helpers team to fulfil her lifelong passion, to advocate for better opportunities for her peers. She believes that the Happy Helpers mission will enable youth to access a higher quality education, which in turns will allow them reach their full potential.
Djeneba is an active member of her global and local communities. She is involved in organizations such as TAMU UNICEF STUDENT ORGANIZATION at Texas A&M, Hopital Gabriel Toure Pediatrics, two orphanages in Mali, and many nonprofits in Houston.
Regional Representative
Kadiatou Maiga is a dedicated wife, mother, and professional, who is passionate about service. She holds a B.A. in Banking and Insurance, a DTA in insurance, and a BTEC in Hospitality and Tourism. Kadiatou's professional career has been based on protecting the public by searching for value based insurance for customers in a market where company needs often proceed the needs of citizens. In the same regard, Kadiatou decided to join the Happy Helpers team as a regional representative of Africa in order to further assist fellow citizens in gaining access to higher quality language and professional development services. Kadiatou strongly believes that by joining the Happy Helpers team, she partakes in establishing change which positively impacts the less fortunate and in turn works to break opportunity gaps experienced in many African countries.
